Wish Come True is a cozy guesthouse in central Hengchun, with a warm, homey atmosphere — natural wood accents, wicker furniture, and a lived-in comfort that feels just like home. Bright, well-ventilated spaces with a relaxed and uncluttered atmosphere. Available as whole-building rental or individual rooms — hosts do not reside on-site, so you enjoy complete privacy. Wish Come True and Dream Come True directly across the lane are two guesthouses built by A-E Jie in the same alley, and share virtually the same location.
Best choice for large groups — up to 18 guests. Wish Come True has 6 rooms and can accommodate 7 to 18 guests for a whole-building rental, making it ideal for multi-family trips, large reunions, or company outings. There are also first-floor rooms available, eliminating the need to use stairs — a thoughtful option for groups traveling with elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility.
🌊 New for 2026: a front-porch pool. Step right outside — no car needed. The pool sits right next to the BBQ area, with a big wooden table and benches: soak in the water, grill, and drink, all in the same outdoor space. That’s the ultimate summer group rental experience. Across the lane, Dream Come True’s pool is on the whole-building rental’s private balcony — more secluded, and when you’re done, wrap up in a towel and step straight inside to rinse off and blow dry. Two pools, two different vibes.
Great location, everything within easy reach. Kenting Main Street is about 10 minutes by car, the National Museum of Marine Biology about 15 minutes. 7-Eleven and PX Mart (全聯) are about a 3-minute walk — no need to drive for daily supplies. Hengchun Ancient City is a 5-minute walk; the Hengchun Night Market is a 3-minute walk — great for an evening stroll along the old city walls or grabbing a late-night snack. A-Jia’s House and Hengchun Old Street (from the film Cape No. 7) are about a 5-minute walk. Houbihu, Nanwan, and Guanshan Sunset Scenic Area are all about 15 minutes by car.

Summer 2025
We've stayed at Wish Come True five summers in a row. The location is fantastic — everything's close: a 5-minute walk to Hengchun Old Street for breakfast or dinner, a 5-minute walk to the inclusive family park, then on to the century-old Longquan Temple. The Hengchun Night Market on Sundays is also just 5 minutes away. Clean, quiet, with the lovely and friendly host A-E Jie. National Travel Card accepted — recommended for everyone who loves Hengchun.

Brought the kids this time — really happy overall. Clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly ✨ There's a small slide in the ground-floor common area, and the outdoor pool is the kids' favourite — they had a blast and burned off so much energy 😂 They also provide a baby bathtub, which is so thoughtful for families with little ones. ⋯

The host's service is absolutely on point. The kids went wild in the pool, there's a mahjong table for newcomers to learn on (the elders loved it), and you can buy everything you need nearby.

Dream Come True and Wish Come True are both built and run by A-E Jie — someone who has spent nearly her entire life in Hengchun. She left just once, briefly before marriage, to work elsewhere. When she returned, it was the first time she truly saw it: the sea and mountains she'd grown up beside were breathtakingly beautiful. She'd needed to step away to really see what was there all along. That feeling is woven into every corner of the guesthouses she built.

Is parking easy? How many cars can we bring?
Dream Come True has 3 complimentary dedicated parking spaces and Wish Come True has 4. Additional roadside parking is available along nearby white lines, and parking is generally easy to find around both properties. If you are arriving in several cars, tell us how many when you get in touch and we will advise on arrival and parking.
Can we bring a pet?
We're sorry — neither property accepts pets of any kind (cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, etc.). This is mainly to protect guests with allergies and to preserve our indoor furnishings and bedding. See the house rules for the full policy.
Is Wish Come True available as full rental or individual rooms?
Full rental is our primary offering, ideal for family trips, kids getaways, or group stays. Individual room bookings are available on non-holiday weekdays. The owner does not stay on-site — complete privacy guaranteed. Feel free to ask about availability.
How many guests can stay? Can we add beds?
Up to 18 guests (+2 on extra beds) for the whole house (6-room package). Smaller options: Any 5 rooms (up to 15 guests), Any 4 rooms (up to 13 guests), Any 3 rooms (up to 11 guests), Any 2 rooms (up to 6 guests). There is no minimum group size — the rate follows the number of rooms you open, not the number of guests, so a small group can still take the smallest package.
Anyone beyond a room's standard occupancy is counted as an extra bed — there is no "one more guest, no extra bed" option. Up to 2 extra beds are possible; please let our housekeeper know in advance and we'll arrange it where possible (extra bed: NT$300 per person on weekdays, NT$500 on weekends and holidays).
For larger groups, you can book both houses: together with our sister property Dream Come True, the two houses sleep up to 33 guests (+4 on extra beds).
We're a large group — can we book both houses?
Yes, and we'd love that. Wish Come True (up to 18) and Dream Come True (up to 15) are two houses run by the same family, both in Hengchun town — booked together they sleep up to 33 guests (+4 on extra beds). For extended family trips, company outings and class reunions, taking both houses keeps everyone together instead of splitting the group across different places. Call or add us on LINE to ask about availability and pricing for a combined booking.
Is Wish Come True a villa?
We're a whole-house rental — one group at a time, with the KTV, mahjong table, BBQ area and paddling pool all yours alone, and the owners living elsewhere so you have the run of the place.
If you're looking for a resort-grade villa with a private swimming pool, we'll be straight with you: that isn't us. Ours is a paddling pool, not a swimming pool.
But if what you want is "the whole house is ours, and we can properly enjoy ourselves" — that's exactly what we do.
How far is it from Kenting Main Street?
About 10 minutes by car. We're in Hengchun Town, within walking distance of Hengchun Old Town — a great base for exploring Kenting.
What entertainment facilities are available?
KTV karaoke system, automatic mahjong table, BBQ area, outdoor pool, and a kids play area — one of the most fully-equipped full-rental guesthouses in Hengchun.
Do the core amenities need booking or cost extra?
The BBQ area doesn't need to be reserved — it's yours throughout a whole-house stay. If you'd like us to arrange the food supplies, please tell us when you book or before you arrive so we have time to organise it.
The splash pool is open year-round at no extra charge. KTV and the automatic mahjong table are likewise included in the whole-house stay; KTV is available 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
Where is the splash pool, and who can use it?
The splash pool is in the covered courtyard, right next to the BBQ area. Everyone in your group may use it during a whole-house stay. It is a 60cm splash pool rather than a swimming pool, open year-round at no extra charge.
Are children and infants welcome?
Absolutely! We provide a baby tub, bottle sterilizer, high chair, kids play area, and an outdoor pool. One of the most family-friendly full-rental guesthouses near Kenting.
Do you accept the National Travel Card (國旅卡)?
Yes! Wish Come True is an officially licensed guesthouse in Pingtung County (No. 0797), fully eligible for National Travel Card reimbursement. Please let us know when booking. Cards are swiped in person at the property on the day you check in; the deposit is still paid by bank transfer.
Do you take a deposit? When is my booking confirmed?
Yes — we work on a deposit system. Once we've confirmed availability and the total price with you on LINE, we'll send the deposit amount and our bank details; after you transfer and send us the last 5 digits (or a screenshot), we verify receipt and your stay is confirmed. The deposit is no more than 30% of the total room price, or up to 50% for stays of 3+ nights over a public holiday.
What happens if we need to cancel?
Refunds follow Taiwan's Ministry of Tourism standard contract — the earlier you tell us, the more comes back. Cancel 14 days or more before check-in and the deposit is refunded in full; after that it steps down with the days remaining, and there is no refund for a same-day cancellation or no contact. The full schedule is in the house rules.
If the Pingtung County Government declares a typhoon closure on your check-in date, you can take a full refund or move the deposit to another date.
